Steven van der Waal, partner and civil law notary at BUREN, advises national and international clients – both listed and non-listed companies – in a variety of areas, such as mergers and acquisitions, private equity, restructuring, financing transactions, share and bond issues, and share option plans.
Steven graduated in 1989 in Notarial Law from Leiden University and has been working for Buren since 2008. Steven was appointed as a civil law notary in 2001.
Steven is the head of Buren’s Japan desk and has now been working for more than twenty-five years for clients primarily from Asia and the Middle East.
