Gertjan Lubbers

Gertjan Lubbers, managing director at BUREN, has extensive experience as a director in the legal profession. For instance, he worked as a director at De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek, Pels Rijcken and Nysingh. In addition, Gertjan held positions as cfo/coo at companies operating nationally and internationally in various (service-oriented) sectors for many years.

After obtaining his HEAO-BE diploma in Groningen (1991), Gertjan obtained his Master of Business Administration at the University of Hertfordshire (UK - Ashridge) in 1998. In the following years, Gertjan completed various management and psychology courses at de Baak (2000 - 2007), a short 'crash course' in business management at Yale School of Management (2015), and in 2018 he participated in Harvard Business School's Leading the Professional Service Firm course.
