D&O pricing increases 30-100% across the globe

As member of the Global Insurance Law Connect Network (GILC), BUREN has contributed the China insights to the first research report into global Directors and Officers Liability Insurance Markets (D&O). The report has had input from insurance lawyers in 20 countries around the globe, and its headlines are startling.  According to Jan Holthuis, partner at BUREN, “The demand for D&O insurance in China has snowballed in recent years and security litigation has increased substantially”. The report finds that in many countries D&O rates are rising, and in some places those increases are extreme, but sees opportunities for recovery in the coming year.
