BUREN announces the appointment of Li Jiao as partner

BUREN is proud to announce that, (Ms.) Li Jiao has been promoted to partner.
 
Li specializes in in China-Dutch corporate and commercial transactions and litigations, and is also a guest lecturer at Wageningen University on Chinese agriculture law. Based in Amsterdam, she will co-head the firm’s team of 17 Chinese lawyers at BUREN’s Amsterdam, Beijing and Shanghai offices.
 
Originating from Nanjing, Li studied law at Shandong University. She started her career at a leading Chinese law firm in Jiangsu province. Li joined Buren in 2010 to pursue a legal career in the Netherlands after successfully obtaining a LL.M degree at the Free University of Amsterdam in International Business Law.  
 
In 2020 The Legal500 noted Li as a rising star at BUREN with a client stating:
