Sam Amrani

Sam Amrani, lawyer at BUREN, advises on and litigates in the areas of real estate transactions, tenancy law, construction law, property law and other real estate-related law of obligations. He advises and represents, among others, tenants and landlords, real estate investors, (project) developers, contractors and medium-sized enterprises in connection with the acquisition and disposal of real estate, (re)development, renovations, complex tenancy matters and other property law and contractual issues. His practice is characterised by an integrated approach, combining transactional advisory work with representation in real estate-related disputes.

In addition, Sam focuses on commercial contracting. He advises companies on the formation, review, performance and renegotiation of commercial agreements, including distribution, supply, services and cooperation agreements, and supports clients in strategic decision-making within commercial partnerships.

In the field of commercial dispute resolution, Sam is an experienced litigator. He has represented clients before all Dutch courts, including proceedings at first instance, appeal and summary proceedings, as well as in arbitration and mediation. His litigation practice includes, among other things, (complex) contractual disputes, product liability matters, attachment and enforcement proceedings, disputes relating to enforcement and conflicts in this area.

During his employment at BUREN, Sam also gained experience as in-house legal counsel at a major manufacturer and distributor of electric vehicles. In this role, he advised on a wide range of commercial and operational legal matters, including contract management, supply chain-related agreements and product and service processes. This experience enables him to assess legal issues with due regard to commercial interests, risk and practical feasibility.

Sam graduated in 2020 from the University of Amsterdam with a degree in private law, focusing on commercial legal practice. During his studies, he completed a semester in International Business at Tecnológico de Monterrey in Guadalajara, Mexico.

From 2022 to 2025, Sam served as a board member and Head of Education of the Association of Young Real Estate Lawyers.
