Mirjam Nwanwuna, tax adviser at BUREN, advises corporate clients on Dutch and international tax law, with particular expertise in assisting Dutch companies with cross-border activities, including the application of tax treaties and regulations on international employment. She is involved in restructurings, the innovation box regime, and the maritime shipping industry. In addition, she has experience advising directors–major shareholders and high-net-worth individuals on personal income tax matters.
Mirjam holds two master’s degrees in Tax Law: Direct Taxation (2017) from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and International Tax Law (2018) from the University of Amsterdam.
Mirjam is a member of the Dutch Association of Tax Advisers (NOB).
