Buren advises Axia Group
Buren advises the shareholders of Axia Holding with the restructuring of the Axia Group and sale of a majority interest in Axia Holding to VoloAgri. The Axia Group is active in the field of seed breeding (with subsidiaries in The Netherlands, Spain, Italy and China) and worldwide trade of vegetable seeds.
VoloAgri is an investment fund which invests in the global vegetable seed industry. VoloAgri is backed by (amongst others) Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and Avrio Capital.
This transaction was particularly complex because of the wide range in international and national parties involved in the negotiations and the complex technical aspects of the series of transactions. Buren provided legal, tax and notarial services in connection with the transactions.
