BUREN advised L.D. Schaap Holding B.V. on the sale of Schaap Vastgoed B.V. to Royal Investment Partners B.V. (part of Lengers Group).
Schaap is known for building ocean racing yachts and is a household name in the nautical world, particularly for composite and gelcoat repairs and yacht painting. The employees will remain on board and become part of the Lengers Group.
The acquisition offers Lengers the opportunity to create more capacity and have the construction of ships in its own hands. There will be more space for winter storage and in addition, the facility in Lelystad will also serve to facilitate the construction of Lengers Group's new yacht brand called Stratos.
