Seminar – The Continuity Foundation and Protection Preference Shares: Curse or Blessing? – 15 March 2018

To what extent is the protection of listed companies possible and adequate? The various stakeholders are struggling with this issue. After recent attempts of hostile takeovers in the Netherlands (such as at PostNL, Unilever, Akzo Nobel and Mylan), the debate has started again. How to deal with increased shareholder activism? Is the protection of the preference shares still of this time?
