Sissy-Boy applies for a suspension of payments

Fashion and lifestyle chain Sissy-Boy has requested a suspension of payments. That became clear on Monday 1 April 2019. Frederic Verhoeven (Houthoff) has been appointed as administrator.

Previous attempts for a restart without insolvency were unsuccessful. Reportedly, Sissy-Boy also tried to get suppliers to agree with a 30 percent discount on all items that had not yet been paid. These attempts to reach an agreement with its creditors have not yet succeeded.

Sissy-Boy sells clothing and home accessories. The chain has 45 stores in the Netherlands and Belgium and also has a webshop. Sissy-Boy has 600 employees.

The suspension of payments can have (major) consequences for employees, suppliers, landlords, debtors, creditors and other stakeholders. It is important that you secure or appoint your rights in time. We are happy to assist you.
