Maarten Smit, tax adviser at BUREN, is part of the international tax advisory team and also focuses on Pillar 2. He advises multinational clients on a range of cross-border tax matters. Maarten is a part of BUREN’s Kazakhstan Practice Group.
Maarten obtained his master's degree in Tax Law from Leiden University in 2020. His master's thesis focused on the VAT impact of transfer pricing adjustments. Maarten is a member of our Kazakhstan Practice Group.
He is a member of the Dutch Association of Tax Advisers and the International Fiscal Association.
