Demi van Steekelenburg, lawyer at BUREN, specialises in insolvency law and corporate law. She is actively involved in insolvency proceedings in which BUREN-appointed trustees act as administrators. In addition, she advises on, among other things, (imminent) insolvencies, restructurings, WHOA proceedings, financing and security, and dispute resolution in this area.
In 2024, Demi completed her Master’s degree in Corporate Law at Tilburg University, graduating cum laude. She has over five years of professional experience in corporate law, having started her career as a legal advisory assistant before progressing to the role of legal adviser. She has been with BUREN since 2026.
