BUREN appointed by Lincoln Electric

BUREN has been appointed by Lincoln Electric to advise on a restructuring of the activities of its Dutch subsidiary, Lincoln Smitweld B.V, which also involved a collective layoff of more than 75 employees. BUREN has legally supervised this restructuring / collective redundancy and in this context supervised, among other things, the advisory process with the Works Council, conducted the negotiations with the trade unions about the Social Plan, conducted the collective dismissal procedure at the UWV and advised on individual termination schemes.
