BUREN advises Vacansoleil

BUREN advises Vacansoleil on the sale of two Iris Parc campsites. Iris Parc is the Vacansoleil camping chain and part of the Vacansoleil group. Vacansoleil is the European market leader in camping holidays.

At the end of 2019 we advised on the sale of Camping Le Grand Dague (real estate and exploitation) in the Dordogne to the French camping chain Sandaya. We also advised on the sale of the Luxembourg five-star camping site Birkelt (real estate and exploitation) to the Italian camping chain Human Company S.r.l., which transaction was completed in spring 2020. Vacansoleil and Human Company have worked together successfully for a long time. For both transactions, a portion was sold through shares and a portion with an asset sale.

With the sale, Vacansoleil focuses on its own tour operator activities. Vacansoleil has been active in the tour operating branch for more than 50 years and in this sense returns to its roots: organizing and selling luxury camping holidays.
