Intertoys applies for a suspension of payments

On Tuesday, February 12, Intertoys requested a suspension of payments. The suspension of payments applies to the Dutch activities of the chain. Jasper Berkenbosch (Jones Day) and Joris Lensink (De Vos & Partners) have been appointed as administrators.

Intertoys is the largest toy retail chain in the Netherlands. In the last ten years, the sale of toys in the stores has been halved. According to the management of Intertoys, a major reorganization is required. The administrators will examine the possibilities in close consultation with the management.

The restructuring can have (major) consequences for employees, suppliers, landlords, debtors, creditors and other stakeholders. It is important that you secure or appoint your rights in time. We are happy to assist you.
