Jan Holthuis and Li Jiao, speakers at the GILC “Emerging Markets for Insurers” Event, October 17th

The insurance markets in countries like China and India are growing rapidly, which make them exciting places to work and invest, but sometimes also higher risk. Each emerging market has its own complexities, its own legal structures, and often a distinct approach by its own government, which must be understood when considering growth prospects and possibilities for entering the market.

On October 17^th 2019 the Global Insurance Law Connect Network (GILC) organizes an event about “Emerging Markets for insurers” at BLM in London. A panel of experts from the GILC Network will come together to discuss opportunities, challenges, legal issues and the rapidly changing rules of engagement in key emerging markets.
