Hans Drijer, partner, lawyer and tax adviser at BUREN, has extensive experience in international taxation, including tax planning, M&A transactions, private equity and venture capital, finance transactions, corporate income tax, Pillar 2, VAT, transfer pricing, as well as corporate debt restructuring and insolvency. His clients include oil and gas companies, funds, and both listed and privately owned businesses. Hans is a member of our Kazakhstan Practice Group and China Practice Group.
Hans graduated from Erasmus University Rotterdam in 1997, specialising in Dutch tax and corporate law. Before joining BUREN, he gained professional experience at Loeff Claeys Verbeke (Jakarta office), Allen & Overy, NautaDutilh, and Keijzer Drijer Priester & Van der Stoel.
He was a visiting lecturer at Nyenrode Business University (MBA International Tax Law) from 2000 to 2005 and at the University of Indonesia (International Tax Law) in December 2005. He is the author of several articles on Dutch corporate income tax and international tax treaty law.
Hans is a member of the Netherlands Bar Association (NOVA) and the International Fiscal Association (IFA).
