Robrecht Timmermans comments in the magazine Onderneminsrecht (in Dutch) on the extension of the calloption granted by Ahold Delhaize to its protection foundation. He believes that this extension was allowed without the approval of the general meeting. He further considers that a calloption can run longer than the period for which the management board of the company is authorized to issue shares.
