Epke Spijkerman, partner and lawyer at BUREN, specializes in employment and employee participation law aspects of (international) mergers and acquisitions, business transfers, reorganisations and dismissal proceedings (collective and individual). Epke has extensive experience in advising and litigating for national and international companies, including listed multinationals.
Epke graduated in Dutch law in 2000 from Leiden University. In 2008 he completed the specialization course Post-Academic Course Employment Law (PALA) at Erasmus University Rotterdam. Epke regularly gives lectures, publishes in professional journals and teaches at various training institutes.
Epke is a member of the European Employment Lawyer Association, the Amsterdam Employment Lawyers Association, the Dutch Employment Lawyers Association, the Employment Law Association and the Association for Sport and Law.
